The post is not about a forum to discuss problems, but to fix problems. With the corporate CEOS taking the lead. Metro Detroit doesn’t need more discussion groups. That is not worth holding out as a model. We do need leadership from the business community to fix problems with the goal everyone participating in a growing economy.

A forum to continually discuss the pitiful plight of Metropolitan Detroit.

I love the City and State that shaped me but has thoroughly been defeated by the systemic oppression forced on the people of color in the region especially African Americans. Detroit and Michigan is the laughing stock of the United States for people in other Regions. It is totally ridiculous that the issue of Regional Mass Transit and the Focus on public schools with skilled industrial Trades is not of the most important to be implemented. The Powers that be should be ashamed! But some how I know they aren’t because they have proven over the last 50 years that they carry the same mentality as their parents from the 50’s about people of color. Newsflash! Without total inclusion, equal pay, improved educational opportunities for “Blacks” and other minorities that Region of the Country will keep falling behind the rest of the Country. It’s well beyond time to replace ALL those leaders above 50 years old in Michigan! Their views, mentality and concepts are outdated!
